Research
One of the most significant aims of The Richard III Foundation, Inc. has been its research on the life and times of King Richard III. In order to achieve that purpose, under the office of the CEO/President, the research department was created. The research department provides assistance to our patrons who wish to undertake research whether it is for research of their own or to assist in a group project.
One of the prime objectives of the Foundation is its research. Our manual entitled “A Guide to Research” was designed for the new and seasoned Ricardian and contains information on how to get you started on your research, how to locate primary sources, chapter on footnotes with samples of the various types, listing of UK Public Record Offices, Special Library and Collections listing, a history and roll call of the Wars of the Roses and facsimiles of medieval documents. To purchase our guide book, please refer to the Ricardian Merchandise page.
